| Hi! I'm Emily Dewbre-Young and I am an indie visual artist who was born in Odessa, Texas and began my work in oil and acrylic paintings, colored pencils, chalk and other traditional media in the early 1990's. In recent years I've delved into sculpture, carving and pyrography as well. My subject matter falls predominantly in the realm of nature, fantasy, mythology, folklore and legend. Some of my work has been used in advertising for productions such as 'Midsummer's Night Dream' for Summer Solstice 2006 and CommuniTree 2011 at the Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas and is also available for viewing or purchase by appointment at our solar powered home studio in Arlington, Texas. I am also open to contracting for custom artwork for your home or place of business including paintings or advertising materials. Primal Aspects is a home based, family owned business in Arlington, Texas founded by Emily Dewbre-Young in January of 2009. |
